Massapequa Elks Drug Awareness Committee Participates in National Drug Take Back Day

Massapequa Elks work with Yes Community Counsel, Massapequa Takes Action, and Nassau County Police Department, 7th Precinct in a Drug Take Back Event held at the Massapequa High School.  150 pound of pharmaceuticals were collected.  The Elks and Yes Community handed out tote bags with literature for all ages pertaining to drug awareness.  We had a visit from our assemblyman Michael Durso and his wife as well as our South East District State Vice President Brian Stekler.
