Massapequa Elks Lodge 2162 Attends Girls Scout Gold Award Ceremonies and Eagle Scout Ceremony

​June 7th was a very busy day for the Massapequa Elks Lodge #2162.  James Justice, Lodge Secretary attended Boy Scout Eagle Award Ceremonies in both Wantagh and Massapequa.   Margaret Motis, Trustee and Margaret Keogh, Lecturing Knight attended the Girl Scout Gold Award Ceremony in Massapequa.    Our officers presented Certificates of Honor on behalf of our Exalted Ruler Richard Milhaven and the Massapequa Elks Lodge #2162.  
 Nancy Parente presented three Gold Awards recipients from the Wantagh/Seford association wiith a Certificate of Honor from Exalted Ruler Richard Milhaven on behalf of Massapequa Elks Lodge #2162. The Girls Scout Gold Award is the highest achieved award in Girl Scouts The Eagle and Girls Scout Gold Award is the highest achieved award in Scouting.  It was our pleasure to attend these ceremonies in recognition of these scouts
