Massapequa Elks Receive a Freedom Grant

​On October 4, 2024, members of Massapequa, NY Lodge #2162 delivered essential household items to United Veterans Beacon House. Using the $1,000 Freedom Grant they received they purchased 2 each of dishes, flatware, glasses, coffee makers, toasters,
sheets, towels and other items for use by homeless Veterans in Long Island. Beacon House provides safe housing and specialized supportive services to Veterans and Veteran families and these items will assist in setting up two comfortable and safe living environments for those in need.
